Q: What’s the best advice you’ve ever received?
A: My grandmother used to tell my grandpa as he went out to work on the farm, “Work hard, John”. That stuck with me; always work hard, always do your very best. I also learned from that if you aren’t the best at something, outwork the guy who is better!
Q: What is the most important thing in your studio to you?
A: The most important thing in my studio? Hmmm, well my studio is SUPER important to me for starters! I have probably the nicest working environment of any artist I’ve ever met so I better not complain! Very hard to pick just one thing.
Q: If you could fly anywhere for free, where would you go?
A: The older I get the more I do not care where it is I go as long as it’s warm and the food is good!
