Timeless Beauty in Every Brushstroke
Carson Overstreet grew up in the small town of Bedford, Virginia, nestled in the foothills of the Blue Ridge Mountains. Inspired by the southern landscape and shaped by her artistic family upbringing, Carson—always creatively inclined—began painting in 2013. For her first ten years, she honed her craft as a self-taught artist before enrolling in courses with the late Randy Sexton and Scott Christenson in 2023.
Her work spans a wide range of subjects, including landscapes, florals, still life, figures, and plein air, though her large-scale landscapes and florals remain the most sought-after. Carson’s style resists easy definition—moving effortlessly between large and small, muted and vibrant, realistic and abstract—creating pieces that feel both familiar and fresh.
