NEW ARTIST KATE JARVIK BIRCH
Kate Jarvik Birch is a full-time visual artist, author, playwright, and lifelong daydreamer.
Her art has been featured worldwide in stores like Target, Pier One, and World Market, as well as in TV series and films including Transparent, Medium, Glee, and 21 Jump Street. For the past six years, she’s dedicated herself to her painting-a-day series, creating over 2,000 small gouache pieces—and she has no plans of stopping.
Kate finds beauty in the everyday, painting familiar objects like cups of coffee and bowls of fruit, celebrating the quiet art woven into daily life. She believes we surround ourselves with art—it’s simply up to us to notice it.
